Reflecting on 2025: A Year of Growth and Advocacy on The Zekely Podcast

As 2025 draws to a close, I find myself reflecting on an incredible year of podcasting with The Zekely Podcast. This year has been a whirlwind of engaging conversations, insightful interviews, and a steadfast commitment to promoting Democratic values in Pennsylvania. With 52 episodes under my belt, I am both proud and grateful for the journey so far.
A Year of Milestones
This year marked a significant milestone for The Zekely Podcast as I successfully released an episode every week. Balancing my roles as a doctor, a family man, and a podcast host has been challenging, yet immensely rewarding. The podcast has not only been a platform for political discourse but also a personal outlet that has kept me grounded and focused.
Engaging Conversations and Diverse Voices
Throughout 2025, I had the privilege of hosting 59 guests, each bringing unique perspectives and experiences to the table. From Democratic committee members to candidates running for various offices, the diversity of voices has enriched the podcast and provided listeners with a comprehensive view of Pennsylvania’s political landscape. Notably, my conversations with Judge Brandon Neuman and the three state Supreme Court justices were highlights that underscored the importance of retaining Democratically endorsed judges.
Challenges and Triumphs
Podcasting is not without its challenges. Crafting engaging questions and editing episodes are time-consuming tasks that require dedication and patience. However, the joy of connecting with passionate individuals who are committed to making Pennsylvania a better place far outweighs the hurdles. Each interview serves as a reminder of the power of community and the impact of positive messaging.
Looking Ahead to 2026
As we approach 2026, a pivotal election year, the theme is clear: it’s go time. The upcoming midterms present an opportunity to reelect Governor Josh Shapiro, expand our Democratic majority, and take back control of Congress. The Zekely Podcast will continue to be a platform for advocacy, education, and engagement, encouraging listeners to get involved and make their voices heard.
A Heartfelt Thank You
I am immensely grateful to my wife, Jess, whose unwavering support has been instrumental in the podcast’s success. Her role as an editor and partner has been invaluable. I also extend my gratitude to all the guests who have shared their stories and to the listeners who have tuned in, provided feedback, and supported the podcast’s mission.
As we bid farewell to 2025, I invite you to stay hopeful, stay involved, and join me in building a stronger Pennsylvania. Here’s to another year of growth, advocacy, and meaningful conversations on The Zekely Podcast.
